Our service providers
We use Shopline to operate our online store and Klaviyo for email communications and marketing. We also use services from Meta, TikTok and Google for advertising and/or measurement, according to the integrations enabled and your choices.
Information is shared with providers only as relevant to their functions. Other recipient categories include payment providers, delivery companies, IT and hosting providers, professional advisers and authorities where required by law.
Some advertising platforms process information as independent or joint controllers for certain activities. Their own privacy notices explain those activities.
Marketing and advertising
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message or by contacting us. We may keep a minimal suppression record to ensure that we respect your request.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential order or service messages.
Where enabled and with the required consent, tracking tools help us understand browsing and campaign performance and show relevant advertising. This can involve grouping interests from browsing or purchase activity. We do not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
You can change optional tracking choices through the website's cookie controls. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
International transfers
Our providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area.
Contact hello@aolondon.co for information about transfers and copies of relevant safeguards, subject to lawful redactions.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, including legal, accounting and claims requirements.
We retain minimal suppression information as needed to respect marketing objections. Where information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it, subject to necessary backup retention.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
Contact hello@aolondon.co. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions and exceptions.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or, where applicable, the supervisory authority in your EU country. You do not need to contact us first.
Security and updates
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online system can guarantee complete security.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The latest version will appear here, with its update date.
