These terms apply to consumer purchases through our website. Please read them alongside our Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Orders and payment

Please check your order, delivery address and contact details before submitting payment. Prices and payment currencies are displayed on the website. Applicable taxes and delivery charges payable to us will be shown before you place your order.

An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. Unless we expressly accept it earlier, your order is accepted and a contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation. Payment taken before acceptance does not itself mean that your order has been accepted.

If we cannot accept an order, for example because an item is unavailable or payment cannot be authorised, we will notify you and promptly refund any payment taken for that order. If we identify a pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you with the correct price so you can decide whether to proceed.

Our fragrances

We aim to describe and show our products accurately. Screen settings can affect the appearance of colours. Minor variations that do not affect quality or conformity may occur between batches.

Fragrance develops differently on each wearer. Descriptions of composition, evolution and emotional resonance offer a way to explore a fragrance; they do not promise a particular personal response or therapeutic outcome. This does not limit your right to receive goods that match their description and meet applicable quality requirements.

Please read the ingredients and safety instructions supplied with each product and use it as directed.

Delivery

Available destinations, delivery charges and estimated times are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and at checkout. Any import charges payable by you must be clearly disclosed before purchase.

We remain responsible for goods until you, or someone you nominate, takes physical possession, except where applicable law provides otherwise for a carrier independently commissioned by you.

If delivery is delayed or an order is missing, contact hello@aolondon.co. Your statutory rights concerning late delivery remain unaffected.

Cancellations and returns

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to cancel an order, return goods and report a fault. Please contact us promptly if you wish to change or cancel an order before dispatch. Dispatch does not remove your statutory cancellation rights.

Website content and use

Our website content, photographs, designs and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may view and use the website for personal shopping. Commercial reproduction or use requires permission unless permitted by law.

Do not misuse the website, introduce malicious software or attempt unauthorised access. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance or security reasons.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Our products are supplied for personal use, and we do not accept liability for business losses arising from their use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Complaints and applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, this does not remove mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. You may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law, including your home courts where those rights apply.

Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order.
